Annie Kevans (born Cannes, France) is an English artist living and working in London. She paints with bright oils and vivid brushwork. The paintings reflect her interests in power, manipulation and the role of the individual in inherited belief systems. Her latest series ‘Vamps & Innocents’ looked at the stereotyping of women in early films.
