Yuko Shimizu

Yuko Shimizu is an illustrator, educator and fine artist living in New York City. Her work is that of a strange and beautiful world. It’s not that unlike the world we live in, but things feel a little warmer, a little dirtier, and a little more magical.
Even her most commercial illustration work can easily stand alone as pieces of fine art produced by a creative mind with a singular, personal vision.
Yuko’s clients include Microsoft, Pepsi, VISA, MTV, TARGET, T-Mobile, Neiman Marcus, Warner Elektra Atlantic Music, NPR, FUSE TV, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Pentagram, Sagmeister Inc., TIME, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, PLAYBOY and GQ magazine.
